Yuck

Ain't that the truth?

So it's been a while since I last ran and I feel like poop. I was doing so well and then the cold weather moved in, the nights got dark sooner, and I lost the motivation to go run. A few times I thought about and strongly considered going out and running through my neighborhood, but then it either started raining, or I just didn't feel like it when it was time.

The greatest news of all is that my inlaws are coming to visit next weekend and they're bringing their treadmill with them for me to use. I've never run on a treadmill, but I am so excited to be able to actually run and get back on the program and can do it from the comfort of my own home.

I've wanted a treadmill for a while and we just don't have the money to afford one right now-- so them bringing it, is such a wonderful gift. 

I am expecting to have to start the program all over, but before I throw in the towel, I'm going to attempt to pick up where I left off (Week 8 Day 1-- walking 5 and then running 28 minutes and walking 5). 

Hopefully, after next weekend I can get back on here and regularly post about how I'm doing and I can continue my training!! I am still determined to run a 5K without stopping.
