Turkey Trot Plan

We are packed and ready to go and in less than a week, I will have completed the Turkey Trot. I'm so excited but a bit stressed about the amount of people. I think I read that there will be over 20,000 people running.

My cousin Jessica, Steve, my dad, and my oldest brother Dave will all be running it together and I am so excited. I'll try to take pictures and I'll post when I get home (not until after we return home).

Jessica and I have a plan to run two minutes and walk one minute and repeat this throughout the race. I told her that I am super slow and have not run in two weeks, but she said she is just happy to be running it with me. I love her so much.

So on Thursday, as you're waking up, think of me in Detroit running the Turkey Trot in FREEZING temps. It's only supposed to be a high of 32 and we'll be running at 8:30am, so it'll probably be in the 20s when we start. That's effing cold!!!
